"All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you. They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom." Psalm 145:10-12
Worship has an OUT Direction. As we praise God, as we react to His goodness, our visible, observable expressions of praise and worship endure and reach into onlookers hearts in a way that often mere words of propositional truth can not.
We can all recall times when our curiosity has been roused by seeing someone elses gladness or our attention drawn to their exclamations of enjoyment. When we see the response, the reaction to the goodness and presence of God in others worshipping, it makes an impact, and it is attractive to onlookers in the same way!
Knowing this can revolutionise our attitude to evangelism. We don't have to struggle with the image of being like a used car salesman or a telemarketer pushing something people don't want. Instead be like a "satisfied customer", and let others see your experience of God's goodness, and like the infamous movie line say in their hearts "I'll have what she's having"!!
God Bless, Pastor Chris
